OM Digital Solutions announced the TG-7 INDUSTRY NY-TGV SUPER ADAPTER Kit on February 10, 2026. Based on the TG-7 platform, the package is designed to digitize binocular stereoscopic microscopes used in inspection, research and testing. An eyepiece adapter connects the camera to an existing microscope.[1]
The TG-7 INDUSTRY provides 12MP capture and direct HDMI output to an external display, allowing several people to examine the same live image. OI.Share supports remote shooting and image transfer from a smartphone or tablet, while wireless remote operation helps avoid touching the camera during high-magnification work.[1][2]
A microscope-adapter preset is assigned to C2 on the mode dial. C1 provides focus stacking for ordinary macro photography, but OM SYSTEM explicitly states that this mode cannot be used while the camera is attached to a microscope. Industrial documentation tools include date stamping, compatibility with write-once memory cards and a CALS-compatible Construction mode.[1]
North American availability was scheduled for March 2026, with the kit priced at $1,699.99 US or $1,899.99 CAD. The separately sold U-OC Ultra C mount was also scheduled for March at $219.99 US or $239.99 CAD. Both the NY-TGV adapter and U-OC mount are Micronet products, serving as microscope interfaces within the package.[1]
