The kit lens is the M.Zuiko Digital 14-42mm F3.5-5.6 III, a 28-84mm equivalent zoom with 8 elements in 7 groups. It is also IPX1 splash resistant and dustproof. It retracts with a click, with no lock switch to work. In Japan the PEN is listed body only, with this lens, and in a two-lens kit.
